Academic Treks offers academic summer camps and community service summer programs for high school students.

Our educational summer camps and high school study abroad programs provide excellent alternatives to traditional summer camps and summer school. Our summer adventure programs for teenagers include marine biology summer programs, language immersion summer programs, wilderness adventure camps and community service summer camps worldwide. Academic Treks programs qualify for college credit and up to 55 hours of community service.

Academic Treks marine biology summer camps for teens include courses that focus on dolphins, sea turtles, marine mammals, sharks, marine conservation and tropical marine biology. Program locations include Belize, Costa Rica, Canada, Fiji and the Caribbean.

Language immersion summer camps include Spanish language immersion camps in Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Ecuador; French language immersion summer programs in France and the French West Indies and Chinese language and cultural programs in China.

Our community service summer adventure camps include cultural and wilderness adventures in the Caribbean, Peru and Belize; Wilderness First Responder courses in Belize, primate studies in Central America and wildlife conservation programs in South Africa.

Academic Treks is the academic adventure and community service division of Broadreach Summer Adventure Camps for Teenagers.

Academic Treks College, a division of Broadreach, offers unparalleled summer study abroad opportunities for college students. Students earn three to five credits from Lesley University and the American Council on Education (PADI) on these Marine Science, Natural Science, Language and Culture, or Professional Development courses.
